Following the info from the chatter on the web recently about being able to use the eSATA port on the Tivo Series 3, I ordered an Antec MX-1 enclosure and a 750Gig disk and updated mine to 1TB of storage.
Kicking it in was rather simple.
Here the Tivo is activating the disk during boot:
Note the new storage estimates.. w00t:
Yeah, that’s 51 DAYS of standard def programming storage. Wow.
Hey do you know that you’re hosting some of bank account fishing stuff ? ( http://www.miguelito.org/twiki/webagence/connect.htm )
So you should erase it and search to stop the spamming that goes along with.
Graow..
Yeah, I got a call from Time Warner (I have a cable modem) about the same thing a day or two later…
Turns out the copy of twiki software I was running was seriously out of date and had been exploited to setup a couple phishing sites. Figures… that’s what I get for not keeping up with the latest versions and exploit info.
I passed on the addresses being used to their security. I won’t hold my breath on hearing anything though.
